Dubrovnik – King’s Landing

Fort Lovrijenac – Red Keep
Often called “Dubrovnik’s Gibraltar,” Fort Lovrijenac is the stand-in for the Red Keep. It’s located just outside the western wall of Dubrovnik and played a major role in the show, notably in scenes featuring the Battle of Blackwater.

Trsteno Arboretum – The Gardens of King’s Landing
Situated about 15 miles northwest of Dubrovnik, this serene location served as the backdrop for the lush, picturesque gardens of King’s Landing, where many covert conversations took place. It’s home to exotic plants, fountains, and historical statues.
Klis Fortress – Meereen
Perched high above the town of Split, the imposing Klis Fortress is used as the city of Meereen, where Daenerys Targaryen frees the slaves. Walking through the fortress, visitors can almost hear the echoes of dragon roars and the cheer of newly liberated citizens.
Minčeta Tower – House of the Undying
Located within Dubrovnik’s city walls, Minčeta Tower represented the House of the Undying in Qarth. The tower’s exterior can be recognized during Daenerys’s quest to recover her stolen dragons.
