Everything is Going to be Okay
Did I Turn the Stove Off or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Embrace Uncertainty
Are you the type of person who worries when you are travelling? You worry while planning, once booked, before you travel and the whole time while away?
You worry that you won’t see enough or do enough. You worry you won’t have enough down time.
What about the worry of being at the right gate and getting through security with enough time? The concern your hotel won’t have your room.
I have so many clients apologize for feeling this way and asking me questions.
I want to ensure you that this is normal travel anxiety.
Although I travel a lot, I still go through this each time. I recheck the flights to make sure I am going the right day, re check the time to make sure I get to the airport in time.
I know exactly when my passport expires, but check it anyway… just in case. Sort of like checking if you left the stove on. Has that ever happened, I wonder?
My job it to help alleviate some of this for you. I check your passport expiry; I double check the date we booked the flight is the one you asked for and I reconfirm with the hotel, so you don’t have any surprises.
We have a pre travel chat before you head out so I can cover off any questions. We can catch those gaps, and I can suggest things to do during this time.
I don’t want you to head off on your trip with concerns that can be dealt with beforehand.
Now, having said all this, there are some things I think are good to be unaware of when travelling. Nowadays with everything online, you know almost everything about the flights, the hotel and each of the attractions you are going to. But, I like to have a few surprises along the way.
Maybe while travelling, there is a parade, or a busker on the main street you can’t walk away from. Or there is a pop up concert in a park. Or stumbling upon a beer garden in a lovely park.
Enjoy the planning, but leave room for those things that are not and please know I am here with you from beginning to end to make sure the important pieces are double and triple checked so you don’t have to. We make sure that you have the best experience, so the unexpected doesn’t become unpleasant.

Go, and worry no more.
