Giving Back to the Earth
We are grateful for being able to explore our wonderful planet, so on behalf of every traveller that books with us, we fund the planting of trees and the cleanup of ocean garbage.
The travel industry, particularly cruises is known for having a higher than average environmental impact, although there is progress in the cruise industry. We at Travel Inspired are always looking for ways to minimize and offset the effects.
We only recommend suppliers that also value the environment and demonstrate responsible travel practices. We have switched from paper to online documentation, and have drastically reduced our own use of paper
On behalf of every traveller that books with us, we give back to the planet by planting trees and cleaning up ocean garbage.

Ocean Cleanup
On behalf of every cruise passenger that books with Travel Inspired, we will contribute to The Ocean Cleanup Project.
Trillions of pieces of plastic pollute our oceans today, and the problem is worsening. Plastics can persist for many decades, continuously degrading into microplastics, which can be ingested by wildlife and later enter the human food chain. Plastic pollution is a global crisis requiring urgent action.
The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing technologies to rid the oceans of plastic. They have a dual strategy: intercepting plastic in rivers to cut the inflow of pollution, and cleaning up what has already accumulated in the ocean and won’t go away by itself.
The floating systems are designed to capture plastics ranging from small pieces, just millimeters in size, up to large debris, including massive, discarded fishing nets (ghost nets), which can be tens of meters wide.
For every land-based traveller, we will plant trees.
Planting Trees
Planting trees has a number of benefits for mitigating climate change, supporting biodiversity and also for human health. As a climate solution, the conservation and restoration of forests is a key solution because it helps to sink carbon from the atmosphere and store it in the trees' biomass.
On behalf of every land-based traveller, we will plant trees by donating to the Ecologi project.
