Germany comprises 16 states and can be divided into three major natural regions.
Those regions are the Northern Lowland, the Central Uplands, and the Alps running roughly west to east across the country.
Each of these regions offers a vastly different experience for locals and visitors within their area.
From farming to arts, culture, and history, the regions all have something that makes them unique.
