Pimm’s Cup of refreshment

A thirst-quenching, supremely summery drink (in England, it's a must at cricket matches), Pimm's Cup mixes lemon soda (or ginger ale), fruit, cucumbers, mint, and a fortifying shot of gin.

Pimm's No. 1, a gin-based drink, was invented in 1823 by James Pimm, who served it at his oyster bar in London.

It’s also served at the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

If you’re visiting London in the summer be sure to grab a glass, even if you think you won’t like it (I’m pretty sure you will) because traveling is all about trying new things.

Now if you’re traveling in the winter I definitely suggest trying the British mulled wine.

Be careful with both drinks though, they are sweet and go down like candy flavored water!
